To use Yellow Bracelet a care provider signs up to use the service. They
get an account to use Yellow Bracelet. This enables care providers to input the care package information in to the system for each patient.
The Yellow Bracelet system then processes that data and adds it to the care providers current packages.
From there care providers can edit or remove care packages at any given time.
We then see new care packages on the system and send out a physical Yellow
Bracelet with a QR code to the provider.
We also send very clear, simple usage instructions and have directly linked training
videos on the portal
On receiving the Yellow Bracelet the care provider can then scan the QR
code with the built in camera app on their smart phone
or by using any QR code scanner, to register their device with the system.
Upon registration the care provider whether it be domiciliary, Primary or
Secondary care, can view that patients existing care package.
Providing a seemless link between e.g. a transition of the patient receiving
care entering a hospital or anywhere else, putting that care
package on hold within minutes and then reactivating the care package when
necessary to ensure no lost time, care packages and/or blocked beds.

We typically process new care packages within 24 hours
of them being added to the system. The Yellow Bracelet then is sent out and should typically reach the care provider within 2 to 3 days.

The Yellow Bracelet service allows anyone with a care package (or a carer) to enter their care package information into the system. The care package information is directly linked to your unique QR code. ANY NHS health care professional can then scan the QR code and read the information from any device. If they are a registered healthcare professional, it will work!
This allows the NHS professional to view your care package information, contact your next of kin, GP, district nurse or care provider immediately. This is done without the need for "apps", "usernames" or "passwords" - if they are a registered health care worker and you allow them to scan the bracelet it will work.
It stores as much information as you wish to update, and this is what sets us apart from other similar services or devices. You can update in real-time, anytime and it will always show the correct information, as your code as it is unique to you and you alone (or the loved one you are buying it for)
We generally recommend the basics at a bare minimum of:
Next of Kin information - contact numbers and the like
Care Package information - Any specific care package details and provider contact information
Medication details - Any specific information your NHS professional may need to know
GP Info - so they can contact your GP
